Over the last decade, medicine has become less personal as physicians have moved to large “mega” practices. Patients complain of not being able to see “their” doctor and oftentimes feel like they are going to a clinic rather than a private physician’s office. Dr Carcieri’s practice prides itself on individualized, quality patient care and customer service. Dr. Carcieri, along with Cheryl Donovan, CNM, are able to provide a level of personalized care and attention to detail that is oftentimes lacking in healthcare today.
The practice offers a full range of women’s health services including care for normal and high risk pregnancy, well woman care, family planning, infertility treatment, menopause management, and the latest surgical and non-surgical approaches to a broad range of gynecologic conditions.
In addition, Dr. Carcieri holds a position as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and teaches both medical students and doctors in training. Cheryl Donovan, CNM taught Maternal and Child Health Nursing at the Community College of Rhode Island for many years. Both have received numerous awards for teaching excellence.
